Ticketing FAQs
Please email info@aviationmuseum.com.au and a staff member will respond to your email as soon as possible.
Tickets will be available to purchase online prior to the event. General admission tickets will also be available at the gate on the day of the event. Please note that purchases made on the day will be at a higher price than online prices.

Camping tickets for both Squadron Tent Barracks and Airfield Camping will be available online when event tickets go on sale on our website.. To stay in any of these campgrounds, you must also be in possession of a valid two day ticket to Warbirds Downunder.
Yes you will be able to choose your seats at the time of purchase.
No they are two day only.
If you want to attend the Saturday airshow only, select for each person in your group either:
General Admission Saturday Only Adult OR

If you want to attend the Sunday airshow only, select for each person in your group either:

Children over the age of 16 (17+) are required to purchase a valid adult ticket for the relevant day of the airshow.
Yes, children aged 3-16 are required to be in possession of a valid child ticket for the relevant day of the airshow.
However, if they are occupying a seat in a premium ticket area. Please note there are no child prices for these tickets.
No child under the age of 3 will require any form of ticket for Warbirds Downunder.
Please note that this means in the premium ticket area, a child under 3 cannot occupy a seat in the grandstand and must sit on your lap. If you wish for the child to have a seat in the premium pass areas, you must purchase the premium adult two-day pass for them.
A senior’s discount is not offered at Warbirds Downunder. You will need to purchase an adult ticket.
You will be able to purchase up to 10 tickets online when tickets for the event go on sale. If you require more than 10 tickets, you will need to contact our official ticketing provider to facilitate the transaction.

Yes. If you don’t have any camping gear, don’t panic! Just rent a tent for Warbirds Downunder at Squadron Tent Barracks. The tents are set up ready for you to sleep in Friday and Saturday nights (with an option to add Sunday night), and then dismantled for you on Monday. More information click here.
Yes, we have a number of powered and unpowered van sites available. Please click here for more information about the different types of Airfield Campground sites.
Yes, BBQs are permitted to be used in the campgrounds at Warbirds Downunder as long as they are off the ground and are gas or electric powered only.
Unfortunately open fires are prohibited in the campgrounds at Warbirds Downunder.
Permitted Items
- Gas bottles and small BBQs
- Eskies and coolers
- Generators to be used only between the hours of 8am and 8pm
Prohibited Items
Please note that prohibited items may be confiscated so if in doubt, leave it at home. Prohibited items include:
- Offensive weapons, including potential missiles
- Illegal substances
- Flares, fireworks or sparklers
- Drums
- Fires and open flames of any kind (Gas BBQ’s excepted)
- Sound systems
- Portable laser equipment and pens
- Any other item deemed to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous by event organisers
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and any other forms of Drones or powered Models are prohibited by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to be used or operated at Aerodromes or within 30 meters of any other person. You could be fined up to $25200 so do not bring them to Warbirds Downunder.
The Tiger Moth campground is the only powered campground. If you are staying in one of the following campgrounds, Boomerang or Hudson you will need to provide your own power for your CPAP machine. Please note that generators are only to be used between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

If you are staying in the Airfield/Overflow camping areas you will be directed along Airport Road to a check-in point. After you have checked in, a volunteer will take you to your campground.
If you are staying in the Squadron Tent Barracks follow the clearly marked signs to the Squadron Tent Barrack entry point where you can check in.
Different types of accommodation will be available onsite at Warbirds Downunder, Airfield powered, unpowered and tent sites, Overflow Van/tent sites and Squadron Tent Barracks ‘Glamping’. You can purchase camping sites as an add on to your Event Tickets once tickets go on sale on our website.
There are disabled facilities available within the Airfield Campgrounds near the powered sites.
There will be disabled toilet and shower facilities available if you stay at Squadron Tent Barracks.
No disabled facilities will be available in the Overflow Hudson campground.
The campsites within the Airfield Camping and Caravan area are approximately 8m x 6m. Please ensure all your belongings stay within this area.
The campsites within the overflow area are approximately 8m x 10m.
If you require a bigger site to accommodate a larger caravan or RV, please purchase an additional site.
You will be able to book additional nights before or after the airshow depending on you campground and availability when you buy your event and camping tickets.
Airfield Camping and Caravan sites are available from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th October 2024.
Overflow Camping and Caravan sites are available from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th October 2024.
Squadron Tent Barracks sites are available from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th October 2024.
No, once you have selected your campground type, you cannot change it.
If you are staying in one of the Airfield/Overflow Campgrounds, or Squadron Tent Barracks, you must purchase a TWO DAY admission ticket for Warbirds Downunder.
Please note that your event ticket will be checked when you arrive at the camping check-in. If you do not hold a valid two day event pass, you will be directed to the box office to purchase the relevant ticket.
As space is limited, only one vehicle will be permitted per site.
Temora Shire Council own the airfield and operate the campground for Warbirds Downunder. The people you will meet, who are checking you in and placing you on a site, are all volunteers, so please be patient and respectful.
You are purchasing a site within a campground – not a specific site number. Sites will be filled as guests arrive, so if you wish to be beside your friends you must all check in at the same time.
More information will be available once tickets go on sale on our website.
Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the Warbirds Downunder event site or at Squadron Tent Barracks. Guide dogs are, of course, an exception to this rule.
If you are staying in an Airfield or Overflow Campground, pets are allowed, but must be on a lead at all times.

Yes you can. Please feel free to share photos and video with us on our social media accounts.
Yes, all our Gift Shops and some food vendors will have EFTPOS terminals.
There will be two water bottle re-fill stations, as well as misting fans to keep you cool during the airshow.
There is an undercover area in the Premium Grandstand Area. A Premium Grandstand Ticket is required for Premium Pass area. The Display Hangar also offers shade, as well as a few trees around the event site.
We do suggest that you bring a hat and sunscreen.
Yes, the lost & found is located at the Museum Guardhouse & Gift Shop during the Warbirds Downunder event. Please refer to the event map.
Unfortunately, the Premium grandstand is not wheelchair accessible. The shaded food court area is accessible.
You will still be able to move around the site, but please be aware that the ground is uneven in many areas and extra caution must be taken as a result.
Items permitted on event site:
- You may bring chairs to the event. Please ensure that they are always secure, and cannot blow away, as we do not want items to end up on the flightline;
- Eskies and coolers;
Prohibited items:
- Unfortunately you may not bring umbrellas or shade tents to the event as they pose a risk to aircraft should they blow away and end up on the flightline. If you arrive with these items, you will be asked to return them to your car;
- Alcohol;
- Offensive weapons, including potential missiles;
- Illegal substances;
- Flares, fireworks or sparklers;
- Drums;
- Fires and open flames of any kind;
- Sound systems;
- Portable laser equipment and pens;
- Any other item deemed to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous by event organisers;

NSW Ambulance personnel will be on site during the airshow. The First Aid areas are clearly marked on the site maps. In the event of an accident or emergency ask a volunteer for help or call 000.
Yes, we have three official Warbirds Downunder merchandise sites. One will be situated in the Museum Gift shop area, the second will be located inside the Aircraft Display Hangar and the third will be located near in our Merchandise trailer in the general admission area to the South..

Yes there will be one ATM facility available onsite, however the queue could be long so plan ahead. Tickets and official Warbirds Downunder merchandise can be purchased with Eftpos.
Other ATM facilities are located in Temora town centre.
No. Strictly no alcohol is permitted through the airshow gates.
Yes, however there is no reception for Vodafone customers. Please be aware that with the large volume of visitors, the connection may be slower than usual.
Parking FAQs
Yes. The disabled parking is off Tom Moon Avenue. Please have your Disability Parking Permit displayed when you enter the car park. If you do not have a parking permit please park in any of the car parks and use the free shuttle to get to the event entry.
There is ample car parking, with overflow options available if required.
The closest Tesla or NRMA fast charging stations are at Temora near the Shire Council, West Wyalong, Young, Gundagai, Goulburn & Bathurst with Destination Charging at Cowra, Forbes, Junee & Wagga.
Yes, there are three types of parking:
Premium Tickets:
- These tickets include two-day parking.
General Admission (single day or two day):
- Located on Bartondale and Airport Road.
- You can walk from these carparks, however we do provide a constant shuttle service to the Event site.
Disabled Parking:
- Located on Tom Moon Avenue.
- Please ensure that your Disabled Parking Permit is visible when you arrive.
Transport FAQs

The quickest way will be to walk to the event site. You will receive a map in your camping pack when you arrive.
For pilots intending to fly to Temora Aerodrome for Warbirds Downunder, an AIP SUP will be published closer to the event. Please see Airservices Australia’s website.
It is recommended that you check NOTAMS for YMMM (Melbourne FIR), YTEM, D427 and R406 in addition to any other NOTAMS required for your flight. A full Pilot Advice information document will also be available on the website closer to the event, and will include a high resolution airfield photo to enable pilots to become familiar with the airfield layout and aircraft parking areas prior to arrival.
There will be no airside access to or from the Warbirds Downunder event site. All pilots and passengers flying in must access the event through one of the ticket points and possess a valid ticket for the day.
